Godspeed Christian Customz was founded by Rick Hanley and James Dean in January 2003 in Cocoa Florida. We are dedicated to promoting God’s love though a Christian car club by placing Him first and foremost. Our aim is to spread the Word on how God will bless those who do His will. Matt 5:16 tells us we are to let our light shine. Godspeed is committed to be a shining light into the darkness.
Some auto clubs condone drinking, drugs, profanity, and sexual promiscuity. Godspeed will NOT TOLERATE these actions. We intend to give auto enthusiasts a club that promotes a better lifestyle; one that pleases our Lord. We also believe our drivers need to be safe, courteous, and obey the laws. Our actions need to match our words. God’s Word says in 1 Corinthians 10:31 that “whatever we do, we must do it all for the glory of God.”
We are born again Christians, and we want to share with others the blessings of committing one’s life and possessions to the Lord. Proverbs 3:9 from the message Bible says: “Honor God with everything you own; give Him the first and the best.” We want to share the best, the best way of life, and the best customz possible.

I will do my best to keep my vehicle clean to help keep club standards high.

I will pay my monthly club dues of $10.00 each month.
I understand that by signing my commitment card, I agree to all the terms stated above and that I could forfeit the privilege of being in Godspeed if I do not uphold these rules.
Membership - All our members need to have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. They must read and understand the behavioral rules, and sign a commitment card agreeing to uphold those rules. Prospective members are required to attend meetings and must interview with club officials prior to membership acceptance. Club officials will vote on prospective members based on personal qualities and vehicle appearance. We will not hold any biases due to previous actions. No one is perfect, we are all sinners saved by grace.
Prospective Members - Every new applicant will be voted in and will have a probationary period of a time decided upon by the core members (typically 3 months). During this time, prospects will be watched and studied for their behavior and driving habits. Driving records will be checked and taken into consideration by club officials for membership. Club Prospects will NOT receive an official windshield logo, but will receive a “Godspeed Prospect” logo to display during their probationary period. During this time, they will be invited to attend meetings and functions with the club. The more you attend, the faster the process will be toward becoming a member. A letter from your Pastor or Church Elder along with a phone number to speak with them will help with the member selection process, but will not ensure a membership in the club. The only way to get in is to be voted in.
Honorary member - One whose vehicle does not qualify for club membership, but contributes in any way to our ministry. Honorary member will NOT be permitted to display our official windshield logo on their vehicle. All honorary members will be voted in by the club officials and will receive an "Honorary Member" logo to display.
Vehicle Requirements - These requirements are currently being revised. Please check back later for updates.
